The exhibition is approaching in the horizon with gigantic steps and we're getting a bit nervous. We have encountered some technical issues lately, because the application we made is simply too big! We need to find a way around this issue fast, and still make it look good. Needless to say, the timing for this was really bad. When life gives you lemons, you paint that shit gold. We will make it work in the end though.

Today, we will be dealing with some more physical issues, such as buying candles and painting our setup etc. It feels good to leave the computers for a while, as we have basically been chained to them since the start of the project.

Apart from that, it'll be a long day. But tomorrow we leave for Stockholm, and we are all very excited about the trip!

Great, not so great!

I guess we have made a few steps in our process - Great. But the frustration is overwhelming right now. Although we made our project work technically, there is a lot of things that still has to be done: magazine articles, animations, projector testing, sound searching and so on and so forth - Not so great. And at the top of everything, we all work right now from different locations. Later today we will also have process follow up. And hopefully we'll get some clarification on the "what and how". Right now the road feels a little long with the deadlines just around the corner - Not so great! However, if we manage to pull this one of the way we want, that would be just SUPER GREAT!
Anyway here is our logo that Hampus and Therese made. And this one is GREAT GREAT!
To be continued...

At this point, wii felt that the group dynamic wasn’t at its best. So wii set up a group dynamic meeting with ourselves to talk about the problems we had. It was really great because it all feels better now. It feels like wii are a better group after this meeting. Wii decided that wii not should be afraid of talking about problems, because wii have to solve the problems that occur so that wii can work better as a team.

It’s going well right now because we have a solid ground finished, our idea already works. What I mean with this is that we already have a working prototype, wii just have to make it better with graphics and more advance programming.

Today Josefin managed to find a projector and a projector screen! Suddenly everything feels safer because that was a thing that worried us quite a lot. We are thinking of using a tripod for holding the Wiimote. Wii also thought about putting the Wiimote in the original box and painting it black, so it looks more professional. Wii will be going to some stores soon to buy some new materials.

So this is our thoughts so far, it feels great!

Wii have an idea! Wii brainstormed yesterday and came up with several ideas, many which were grandeur in scale with rather difficult to execute in only two weeks time. Wii then finally found an idea which suited us all and which wii believe in. An interactive art piece which the user can interact with, using only a regular non-digital lantern! Wii are in the process of creating the art, which the user will navigate through. This is very exciting so far.

Experiencing technology – Module 3

So today wii (we) really got started on our assignment. Wii got the Wii remote to experiment with. An assignment that in the end will take place i Stocholm where wii will show our final solution together with the rest of the groups in our class in Karskrona and also with the class in Stockholm. Mighty exciting!!!

Our group from Hyper Island (school of digital media) contains of four members - Therese Larsson, Hampus Olsson, Anders Helgesson and Josefin Hildingstam.

Wii started to brainstorm and decided to keep on brainstorming over the weekend. And on Monday wii have to come up with the real deal to actually get things going.
